Another Bus Excursion / Local Fields

Bus Journey:

Some enjoyable bus rides and some walking again today.

1st up the 502 from Bradshaw Church - Keighley.

Bus Keighley - Bingley.

Brunch was a breakfast muffin in  Spoons.

Then a walk along the canal to Riddlesden Hall.

A look at the pond in the hall grounds and back to Keighley on the bus.

Keighley 502 towards Halifax , but we got off at Crossroads and enjoyed a bun  and coffee at the excellent Wilds CafĂ© (open 7 days) here and caught the next 502 to Bradshaw.

I was on the look out for 'Swans' throughtout but saw none - boo hoo.

Some great distant panoramas on these bus trips.

I did get a Peregrine Falcon on a Keighley Chimney and a Greenfinch and couple of Heron along the canal.

At Riddlesden Hall - A Moorhen and an UI Duck(?) fast overhead.

Bradshaw - 5pm to dusk.

A very enjoyable late evening walk up the local fields - dark when I got back.

Birds:-

c50+ Fieldfare was a nice surprize.

Redwing.

Mistle Thrush.

A distant Partridge species in the late gloom that I reported as a Red Legged Partridge - no sure now - the photo is poor.

Little Owl called a few times.

2 Stonechat in the lower distant fields.

Green Woodpecker on the deck in the gloom.

2 Heron.

A few Meadow Pipit.
