"Two Gulls" Ogden / Local Fields

Ogden:

I took the car, for a change,  over to Ogden this morning.

A dark, damp breezy outing with a pleasant stop in the café there.

A poor show here with just one Black Headed Gull on the water

 and another Gull airborne later.

2 Cormorant, distant, constantly diving.

2 Nuthatch (heard). 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker (heard).

Goldcrest and Long Tailed Tits were flitting about high in the dark tree canopy.

A Buzzard flew over Bradshaw Lane seen from the car on my way home.

Just a spoonful of juice in the Raggalds Field with one Black-headed Gull.

Local Fields:-

Mid-afternoon I had my usual walk along the local fields.

It was spoilt a bit by the rain being blown along on the stiff breeze.

Still it was good to get some fresh air and a few birds did come along.

3 (1f) Stonechat were moving along the fence and walls.

3 Red Legged Partridge , at the bottom of a field,  legged it as soon as they saw me.

The usual four Gull species seen - majority seen were Common Gulls.

3 Greylag Geese.

Kestrel.

Ogden:

Bradshaw Fields.
