I had my ears lowered this morning, it seemed a good time to go to the barbers with the this awful weather keeping me indoors.
Late afternoon I had a drive over to Ogden Water and, amazingly, did not get wet.
I was hoping this wet stuff might have brought something down but "live in hope......"
I did a slow circuit of the water and then came home via Raggalds Flood.
Lots of juice in the field now so a good by-product of the bad weather,
I just had a small camera with me today.
Birds:-
Poor again at Ogden.
No Gulls on the drink when I arrived but c30 small Gulls were present at one point with 8 or so there when I left.
A Buzzard was over the top car park but was seen off by Crows.
A Cormorant flew low over the water and a Goosander was asleep at the far NW end.
Very quiet around the circuit with Robins and Tits kicking about.
Plenty of others in the dark woods, no doubt!
Raggalds Flood had c50 Small Gulls and a few Mallards, but if the water stays it might be worth a look tomorrow morning.
