I had a drive down to Lightcliffe late morning and a walk down (and up) Coach Road and areas nearby.
After yesterdays excitement today was a damp squib alas.
No trip up the local fields, either, this afternoon with the weather turning cold and wet - boo-hoo.
I had a look at Raggalds Flood on the way home.
Birds:-
Coach Road Area:
3 Nuthatch.
1 Greenfinch.
4 Bullfinch.
Great Spotted Woodpecker (heard).
Usual Tit species about.
Raggalds Flood.
Seven Lapwing and Small Gulls present.
Elsewhere:
A Great Spotted Woodpecker flew over Aldi , Clayton as I came out of the supermarket.
C40 Canada Geese flew honking over the house as we got home.
