Christmas shopping day today (UGH), along the way I had a quick look at the raggalds flood where the water is still hanging on - no surprize there.
Not much to see though with the few Gulls that were there, flushed by something (unseen) and took to the air with some Starlings.
Other than that 2 Pied Wagtails and a few Mallard were here.
Local Fields:
Just before dark I had my usual short walk up the local fields and back.
Another dark, dank drizzly outing.
Birds:-
30 Canada Geese and 2 Mallard together.
20 Common Gulls , 5 Black Headed Gull, 1 Herring Gull on a distant wall.
2 Pheasant.
Greenfinch, Bullfinch, Green Woodpecker.
1 really distant Fieldfare and a few Goldfinch with the farm Jackdaws.
Little Owl.
Gulls heading west as the light faded.
