On the buses....Hebden Bridge to Luddenden Foot

With no family commitment today, we had another bus adventure catching the 10.09 am 502 bus from Bradshaw to Keighley.

A breakfast bap and a coffee in Spoons set us up nicely for the day ahead.

Next bus was K3 to Hebden Bridge via Haworth a really picturesque journey.

A super day for a walk cold, crisp and sunny and after a nosy around HB we set off along the canal to Mytholmroyd and a bun and coffee in the packed Blue Teapot.

On again along the canal as far as Luddenden Foot where we were fortunate with the bus to Halifax.

A nosy around Halifax and then a bus to Illingworth and a walk home in the dark.

A really enjoyable outing.

Birds:-

Hundreds of Gulls in a field just beyond The Flappit Inn, Cullingworth (seen from the bus).

Pied Wagtail.

4 Goosander.

Long Tailed Tit.

2 Heron.

c145 Canada Geese (No Barnie seen).

Kingfisher

And a few others.
