Bradshaw Fields - Again (Friday PM) second blog

I squeezed another birding outing in after tea today after my poor show at Soil Hill earlier.

A bright windy evening turned pretty cold as darkness arrived.

Still Ouzel hunting but no joy.

Top of the pops was a cracking Wheatear that popped up onto a fence post and popped off again.

A Lapwing was new in the horse fields.

3 Little Owls and 3 Pheasant were also about.

A distant bird in failing light had me wondering Ouzel but I believe it's a Mistle Thrush.

Mistle Thrush ?
