Quite breezy here and very dull to the west but bright and sunny north and northeast - brightened up as the day progressed.
I had a very short meander (100 yds or so) down the north slope today.
Not much sky movement for me - a flock of c30 large Thrush species flew fairly high, south as I was asleep on Ned Hill Track!
I opted for the camera and bodged the job completely the photo failing to capture the birds at all and then they were away.
My 1st instinct when I grabbed the camera was Fieldfare, and they probably were , though I was a tad miffed by my efforts.
Some sky movement a tad later, though, with 2 skeins of Pink Footed Geese in quick succession SSW (ish) over Roper Lane and Bradshaw.
Mid-afternoon and with rain forecast for later and Sue's friends arrival at ours , I sneaked off up the local fields, walking along the paths to Ned Hill Lane and back.
