Ogden to Bradshaw

Dense fog and wet this a.m. in Bradshaw so we had a morning  shopping trip to Boundary Mills, Colne - UGH!

Funnily enough it was ONLY ME who bought owt!

We called at Wilds café, at Cross Roads  (always good) for a sarnie. on the way home before Sue dropped me at Ogden to walk back through the fields.

One circuit of the water, a coffee and Twix in the café here and then along Syke Lane, through the farms and along the fields home.

It stayed dry although looking exceedingly dodgy at times, so Soil Hill went off my radar.

Yesterday's Sub-adult Gull at Ilkley was probably a 2cy Herring Gull.

Birds:

Ogden:

2 Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Grey Wagtail.

1 Goosander.

2 Nuthatch,

Goldcrests in low branches difficult to see.

Usual Tit species.

Bullfinch.

Chiffchaff.

120 Gulls - nothing 'special' stood out.

Syke Lane to Bradshaw:

6 Meadow Pipit.

Kestrel.

Little Owl.

4 Stock Dove.

56 Canada Geese.

Green Woodpecker.

Heron.

Plus the more common species.
