Another pretty decent day today for November with plenty of brightness.
Mid-morning I had my usual stroll up the local fields and mid-afternoon I had a very quick visit to look at Cromwell Bottom ski-lake and a bit of the river.
First, I had a look at the ski-lake from Casa Hotel car park but this proved to be a waste of time with the bright sun, low in the sky, turning everything on the lake 'black'.
I then walked along the canal towpath to gawp at the lake through the railing.
Many Gulls spread all over the water and lots of Canada Geese on the far north side but most Ducks were out of sight?
