Another wet and windy day today.
Aldi, Clayton, this morning and the car park was chock-a-block.
Mid-afternoon I risked a walk up the local fields.
The walled path after 'Ward's View" is more like a river (or moat like a river) than a path and on the TV news this evening was some sad scenes of massive flooding.
A couple of Raptors ,very distant (unfortunately) were sparring with each other.
I think the Raptors were A Buzzard and a Peregrine Falcon ( but I could be wrong on both counts - see what you think!).
The photo, at this distance, is very poor.
A large Owl species left a delipidated barn as I approached but it was gone before I got anything on it.
The logical ID would be Barn Owl but it looked 'too brown', a bit bigger maybe and more 'agile' in flight... so who knows.
