A poor day with thick mist or fog? for a lot of it.
At half past one this aft. the mist lifted and some sun appeared to the north.
We took advantage of the brightness and walked up to the Raggalds where the mist closed in again, making the flood (if there is one) out of reach.
We continued up Percy Road where the mist lifted again leaving bright sunshine on the hill tops.
Going down Taylor Lane we re-entered the earth's misty atmosphere again and this stayed all the way home.
Undeterred, at home I donned me wellies and set of in the mist to walk along the local field path.
Miracleously the mist lifted again from the higher fields leaving me in bright sunshine with a band of mist below me - eerie.
