Local Fields

A bit of an improvement weather wise today with the thick fog gone, leaving dull damp conditions.

It looked a tad misty towards Soil Hill so I settled for a short walk along the 'river' path, through the farms, and back this afternoon.

Enough birds moving about to keep the interest going but nothing to set the heart racing.

Abi with us tonight so birding tomorrow might be off limits - but we shall see.

c75 Common Gulls, c5 Black Headed Gulls and c5 Herring Gulls in the lower fields at one point.

6 Red Legged Partridge.

2 Little Owl.

2 Kestrel.

2 Stock Dove.

2 Pheasant.

3 Bullfinch.

c80 Jackdaw.

3 Large Gulls high overhead that I am not sure of.

The chunky body makes me think like Lesser Blacked Gulls but the are too light in colour?

And a few other species.
