It's Quiz Night - An Early Christmas Present

A real pea souper today with nasty drizzle.

The highlight of the day was a run out late morning to Wilde's cafe at Cross Roads for a snack lunch.

I thought I'd include a look at Raggalds Flood in the trip,  but the fog had other ideas , as the flood (if there is any water there!!) was draped in this wet misty stuff and you could not see it from the road side.

So!!!!

I have concocted a very entertaining way to spend your leisure time, if this misty stuff should remain or, if it leaves for a while and returns again to pass the time when it returns.

Here it is.

There are 27 bird species to find.

There are 27 clues to their identity listed below.

There is also a word finder grid where these same 27 birds appear.

There is also an upside down help sheet photograph gives the names of the 27 species.

So you can:-

1. Try to decipher the species from the clues without reference to the help sheet.

2. Or Use the help sheet to match the birds to the clues.

3. Also you might like the other quiz and try to find the same birds names that are hidden in the grid.

4. Most probable - you will forget the whole thing and go to the pub.

Here we go....

Warning - Any Typo's are deliberate.

The total number of letters in the bird's name are shown in brackets to start.
