Some thick fog here and there and some bright skies as we had some running about early on ... then we took Emma Out for lunch.
Sadly, Emma began to feel ill in the car, so we did a U turn and took her back to White Windows.
On our way home we did a slight detour to eyeball Mixenden Reservoir from the top road hoping to see DJS's earlier GBB Gull but no joy.
Late afternoon I had a walk up the local fields to Ned Hill Road bottom and back.
Things were pretty quiet (nothing new for my 2025 list) but a few birds did keep the interest flowing along.
Birds:-
Little Owl,
5 Red Legged Partridge.
c70 Small Gull (with only c6 Black Headed Gulls).
7 Herring Gulls.
Pr. Mallard.
Over head ... 3 Large 'chunky' Gulls together and one large gull later on , that I cannot ID.
A flyover of 31 Fieldfare....
Earlier a Peregrine (maybe 2) D.C. Chimney.
and....
As my uncle Eusebio used to say .... 'Onion'...
(That's shallot).
Lots of 'stuff' happening tomorrow - looks doubtful if I'll get any birding in.
