Slim Pickings (and it's is not a country singer )

A showery day today and it felt colder to me?

We had a walk up to Raggalds Flood (soon to depart these shores), bits of nuisance drizzle off and on didn't make it very pleasant.

We took Emma to Craggies - Crag Vale Area -  for elevenses.

Some good views on the drive over to Craggies.

Late afternoon I did the 'Bog Hop' along the local fields to Ned Hill Road another drizzly gloomy affair.

I need to get out a bit further to see some birds but life seems to be getting in the way.

Birds:-

Raggalds Walk:

Just a few Gulls and Rooks at the water.

A Little Owl was seen from the bonnet.

Greenfinch.

Local Fields:

2 Little Owl 5 feet apart on a fence.

4 Drake Mallard.

2 Stock Doves.

A few Gulls airborne and the usual Corvid families.

Thank goodness for local Little Owls!

Raggalds Walk:

Soon to depart these shores

Bonnet Little Owl.

Local Fields:

Two Little Owls.
