Out and About

Not a lot of birding today but 2 Buzzards were over the house this morning.

Some blah, blah, blah.

We said bye buy to the builders late morning, having a few bob left in Sue's purse we had a ride out and gave this money to ALDI.

After a late lunch Sue suddenly decided to catch buses to drop something off at her friend Helen's at Luddenden. followed by a canal walk.

The Bradshaw bus was imminent so we legged it outside to the bus stop..... waited ages... Sue then consulted her new Bus App on her phone and she decided that we had missed the bus.

Not to worry if we walk nearly a mile to an Illingworth Road bus stop, we will get another bus. 

So off we toddled off,  down Bradshaw Lane. After 'several steps'  the missed 526 bus toddled past us!

oops , where did we put that "Using Bus Apps for Dummies" book what I bought.

Anyway we got to Ludd. Foot had a long natter then set off along the canal to Hebden Bridge.

To celebrate a successful building repair job we called at Finellies Italian restaurant for a Pizza which we ate with a beer in the sun outside.

We moved inside as the sun went down for A BIG PUD.

We caught a bus to Halifax but then our luck ran out with no bus "our way" for ages so we caught the 576 to Roper Lane. Queensbury and walked home for 8.30 p.m. just before dark.
