Ringstone

We drove over to Ringstone mid-morning.

Sue read her book while I had a walk about as usual.

It was good to bump into P.S. up here.

Nothing much new for me alas but it was good to get a Juv. Wheatear on the reservoir wall.

Cloudy and dull but dry - no wind to speak of.

Birds:-

Kestrel.

Juv. Wheatear.

5 Oystercatcher.

5 Cormorant.

Willow Warbler.

Greenfinch.

Heron.

Meadow Pipit.

2 Tufted Duck.

Black Headed and Lesser Black-backed Gulls.

2 Great Crested Grebe (head "nodding" a bit).

16 Greylag Geese.

8 Canada Geese.

Many Lapwing and Woodpigeon.
