Fly Flatts / Leeshaw Reservoir

Tina and Raymond called to see us this afternoon and we left the ladies chatting and I drove us over to look at Fly Flatts for a birding walk.

This fell flat really and turned into just a walk with not much happening.

With not much here we carried on to Oxenhope and took a look at Leeshaw Reservoir.

The juice in both reservoirs is very low and Leeshaw was also very quiet really.

(Except for a large contingent of noisy Canada Geese).

A calm mild-ish dull outing.

The 3 Buzzard that were up together over Oats Royd yesterday have transformed into a Buzzard and 2 Raven - when I got a look at the photos this evening.

Birds:-

Fly Flatts:-

4 very distant Duck - Tufted Duck I believe. Plus one on it's tod.

C130 Lesser Black-backed Gull.

1 Herring Gull - probably more!!

1 'Unusual' Gull - probably a Lesser.

2 Carrion Crow.

Leeshaw:-

Canada Geese, Lapwing, Black Headed Gull. Lesser Black-backed Gull. Common Gull.

1 Cormorant.

Swallow. Sand Martin.
