Ringstone Reservoir at 1.30 p.m. (ish)

We made a visit to White Windows late morning and afterwards we called for a Toasted Currant T Cake at Barkisland Post Office for lunch, before taking a quick look at Ringstone Reservoir.

All the Gulls were on the water (or 99% of 'em) which I though was odd.

Someone was walking along the North side shoreline, proddling about,  near the small bushes - I guessed that this was why the Gulls were not sat there preening.

My lifer (that was due here today) must also have been absent for the same reason.

A bit of a disappointment today, unless I've missed a rare / scarce Gull.

Birds:-

5 Pied Wagtail.

3 Tufted Duck.

4 Cormorant.

Pair Great Crested Grebe.

Many Gulls.

Possible Raven or maybe 2 "diving" about.

3 Buzzard up together seen over Bradshaw this aft.

A very shaky video , above, taken from the west side of the reservoir with the Gulls
pretty distant on the east side.
(Looking from the east side - the Gulls were in silhouette and glare).

The above video was taken from the east side......
I guess I'll have to step through the video after tea....
and baffle mesen

Large Gull -Lesser No Doubt!
