Ringstone Reservoir - Mad Monday

After my pretty stupid visit to Ringstone this afternoon in a howling gale and rain sheeting across the water.

I decided to buy a new book  - to reflect the days birding.

The Book is Called:-

"The Joys of Birding Reservoirs in West Yorkshire"

It's written by:-

Albert Ross and Demoiselle Crane.

It's a very short book, very easy to read in fact, It only contains three pages.

Page 1: Is the Contents Page.

Page 3: Is the Index Page

Page 2: has the following note at the top

"This page is left blank intentionally".

Read it in no time actually.

I did actually get out of the car a few times here at Ringstone.
And ... Before I left  I parked on the road near the east side wall.
I got out and looked over the wall and the gale nearly ripped my cagoule off  but being a brave fellow , very much like Arnold Rimmer of Red Dwarf fame, I got back in the car  again right smart.

Birds:-

Picked out of a bad photo this evening was a Common Sandpiper.

5 Black Headed Gull

1 Canada Goose airborne.

and....

a Bean Tin.

Spot the common Sandpiper.
