Ringstone Reservoir

The usual lunchtime dash - this time to Ringstone Reservoir Barkisland - to see if this stormy weather might have dropped something in.
Plenty of thunder , lightening and big heavy showers today.
I sat eating my butties in the car while one such shower passed me by.
My walk to the far north wall was Ok really - plenty of distant bangs and some rain but a lot better than I expected when I pulled on my boots and waterproofs.

The birds did not play ball today but a few were kind enough to enter me bins.

Birds:-
5 Wheatear skitting about, very distant on the ploughed north field.
5 Teal.
1 Lapwing.
Moorhen.
2 Great Crested Grebe
3 Meadow Pipit (must have missed loads!).
Many Canada Geese in the NW field.

Enjoyable funnily enough.
