Ilkley

14:15 – 16:30

A beautiful sunny afternoon and a welcome change of scenery with a trip to Ilkley curtsey of Sue.

A look at the shops was followed by a saunter on the river Wharf this aft.
A walk up to the Raggalds for an excellent evening meal completed a rather relaxing day.

Birds:-

Jay, Song Thrush, Swallow, Sand Martin, Chiffchaff, Dipper, BHG, Moorhen, Greylag Goose, Wren, 5 Goosander, 2 Heron, Grey Wagtail, Mandarin Duck,

I’m thinking of buying some new 8X42 Bins  . However, because I do a lot of walking carrying the bins, I need some very lightweight ones. My existing Vistron 8X32 bins weight c400 grams. Any suggestions of make or model (and where to buy them) would be most welcome.

Song thrush with head - snail not so sure.
