Wild, Wet & Windy

Ogden 13:00 - 13:45

I ventured out to Ogden for a very short visit today.

I was hoping that something tasty might have been blown in by the stormy weather but it wasn't to be.

The rain was wet and the wind was windy and I did not get the camera out of the sack, which is a first for me.

The water was choppy and held a meagre count of small gulls and Mallards.

A Blackbird with a white eye ring gave out an alarm call as I passed by. 

Other than that nowt doing.

There were 8 or 9 cars in the car park at Ogden so I didn't feel a complete idiot for venturing out on this foul day.

(Maybe it’s a side effect of the flu jab I had this morning?)

The roads are flooded in some places - noticeably so, near the Bradshaw Cricket Club and, opposite Ogden Lane, the main road is a tad river like.

Back home now and steaming …………. nice.

I went to the doctors today.

He tells me I've got alcoholic constipation.

Apparently I can't pass a pub.
