A trip down to Coley today, a cool 6 degrees ,calm and dull.
Lots of glimpses of birds today, clear sightings were hard to come by.
Coley Church Bridleyway:
Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Lots of Goldfinch.
Priestley Green Area:
A Sparrowhawk zoomed right past my nose end.
Long Tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Nuthatch and Goldcrest were in the bushes at the bottom of the 'A58 bridleway path'
Coach Road Area:
Unusually quite - no Woodpeckers seen or heard.
I took the first right from the main track where at least 4 Bullfinch were in the bushes by the golf course.
Back on the main track, 2 Nuthatch, Jay.
2 distant Redwing in a tree top, were my first of the Autumn.
