Local Meander

Once the rain had packed up we went for a short stroll down to West Scholes from home, late afternoon.

5 Mistle Thrush were knocking about in the Bonnet area.
A very wet looking Kestrel was near Old Guy Road,
A single Mistle Thrush was near the Junction Inn.

After a refresher in the Junction we retraced our steps.

(We had an enjoyable chat with some folk in the pub. They were waiting for some friends visiting from Canada.
Sue managed to flog one of them one of her lovely poppies that she is knitting for Help for Heroes - thank you).

The return leg did not reveal much bird wise.
Common Gull, Black Headed Gull ,Lesser Blacked Gull and some Starlings about.

It was nice to see the current bun for a change.

(Another bit of a boring blog but there is always tomorrow!!)
