Local Jaunt - Bradshaw- Holdsworth Area

A late afternoon stroll today.
Bitingly cold NNW wind, but bright and sunny with it.
It felt cold today.

Birds:-

What a difference 48hours makes.
Last time I did this walk there were c100 Thrushes of one kind or another - today 1 Mistle Thrush!

Northing much moving overhead, either , with 3 Herring Gulls and a few Black Headed Gulls about.

Blue, Great and Coal Tit on feeders by a farm near the park.

c10 Common Gull were feeding in the fields.
5 Moorhen near Bradshaw Park.

The outing was saved when I took a different path from above Oats Royd and a Little Owl was seen sitting on a fence.

Bradshaw seems blessed with Little Owl with this a new area, for me, to see this gem of a bird!

Another overdose of wall scanning failed to produce a Black Redstart (yet).
