Not much time today with Abi and Emma to entertain and a firework display, with Abi and her dad, at Mirfield later on.
I had a stroll down to the Holdsworth Caravan CL site and back along the Calderdale Way.
A very breezy mild outing with Gulls the main interest.
c30 Gulls about, mainly Common Gulls feeding in the fields with Herring Gulls over from time to time.
The Gulls seem to enjoy windy weather.
Bradshaw Park had c40 Goldfinch, very skittish, not allowing inspection.
A Mistle Thrush was picked out perched low on a distant wall.
A Grey Wagtail was near the small stream above Oats Royd.
On return from my birding extravaganza..
Abi had make me some Gingerbread Men.
A Few pics from Mirfield Fireworks display(that don't do it justice):-
