Soil Hill

13:20 - 14:40

An hour up to and around  Soil Hill this aft.
This mornings bright sunny skies were long gone.
Dull, damp and misty.

A commotion from Gulls up by Roper Lane was a bit perplexing.
I had a good scan around the sky but I could not see anything.
Then a bird was on a very distant Pylon.
I took a couple of photos but I could not ID what it was at the time.
Looking at the photo, now, I think it is a Peregrine Falcon.
The picture is very poor at the distance, in the gloom.
A rare bird for Bradshaw.

2 Kestrel.
c30 Meadow Pipit - unusual so many, so late on?
A Snipe seen in flight (normally only see Snipe when they flush).
Little Owl.
