Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge Walk

A walk along the canal with friends today.
A cold dullish kind of day, dry and calm.
Not a lot of time to hang about but a few birds were seen nevertheless.

Birds:

A large flock of Canada Geese flew low overhead before landing on the water.
I had a good check through them for a Barnacle.
Pied Wagtail,2 Grey Wagtail, Bullfinch.
Long Tailed Tit, Goldfinch, Nuthatch.
2 Great Spotted Woodpecker heard but not seen.
Mallard, Pr. Goosander.

Loads of berries on the bushes in the TK Max car park at the bottom of Pellon Lane might be a good place for Waxwings?

Halifax - still some Christmas cheer
