A fair traipse about this morning.
It was quite cold early on but it remained dry.
From Coley Church I went down the bridleway to Priestley Green. A quick nosey at the 'A58' bridleway before going along the road to Lightcliffe School and down Coach Road to Sefton Ave.
The return route was via Newton Park Road and some waste ground where I got a bit lost, to be honest.
I soon came back out on the Coach Road bridleway though and retraced my steps.
Birds:-
A bit of a damp squib today.
One Woodpecker started drumming but soon packed in again.
Pied Wagtail.
No other Woodpeckers seen or heard.
A good few Nuthatch were seen - some calling.
Mistle Thrush,Bullfinch and the usual Tit families.
A couple of Song Thrush were full of the joys of an early spring - singing loudly.
Plenty of Small Gulls about with a few Herring Gulls overhead.
Pr. of mega distant Linnet.

Cropped from above - not great!
