11:15 - 14:30(ish)
A bit grim this morning with overnight snow to shift.
The morning improved with sunshine thawing the snow.
We decided to park in Sowerby Bridge and bus it to Hebden Bridge and walk back with the wind behind us.
A good day for a walk with the weather improving and a great café stop by the canal in Mytholmroyd.
A well deserved second coffee and biscuits was enjoyed in the Weatherspoon at Sowerby Bridge as well.
Birds:-
3 Heron, Nuthatch calling, Coal Tit, Long Tailed Tit.
M. Goosander, loads of Canada Geese, Pied Wagtail.
Raggalds Flood.
15:45 - 16:45
When we got back home I thought I'd have a walk up to the Raggalds - just in case.
I'm glad I did because a Redshank awaited me there!
There was no other birds here but I did pick out the Taylor Lane, Little Owl on the way home.
A few Herring Gulls passed over Roper Lane.
A really satisfying afternoon - what an amazing place this little 'puddle' is!
Leaving Hebden Bridge
