Oxenhope Area Reservoirs

A grim afternoon with frequent torrential downpours interspersed with light rain. Some sun later on.
I had a run out to the Oxenhope area.

Ponden:

There was some shooting taking place beyond the B&B.
Greylag Geese with young.
Swallow, Common Sandpiper, Heron.
Curlew, Oystercatcher, 5 Swift, House Martin.
Chiffchaff.

Lower Laithe:

Oystercatcher, poss. Common Sandpiper (very distant).

Leeshaw:

After scanning for Common Sand. 2 Possibly 3 Common Sandpiper flew fast from behind the reservoir edge in front of the car.

Greylag Goose, Canada Goose, Meadow Pipit.
Lapwing, Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Cormorant, 2 Black Headed Gull, Redshank.

Sparrowhawk, Curlew, Pr. Red Legged Partridge.
House Martin.

Leeming 16:00.

Curlew, 4 Swift, 4 Tufted Duck.
Moorhen, Mistle Thrush, Pheasant.
Pr, Kestrel together and a lone one later.
6 Willow Warbler singing.
House Martin.

A lot of looking but nothing special found.
