We took Abi and Emma to Manor Heath Park on quite a mild calm morning, this morning.
Lots of berries and lots of Redwing here.
The Redwing were very, very flighty and difficult to photo ( while playing ball! - me not the Redwing).
Possibly 50 Redwing with at least one Mistle Thrush.
Bradshaw / Soil Hill:
I took a stroll up to Soil Hill late afternoon - I'm still trying to figure out why!
On the way there, Taylor Lane held 2 Stock Dove a Wren and a distant Stonechat.
Always brings a smile seeing a Stonechat.
Soil Hill is very overgrown.
Single figure Meadow Pipit and a Pr. Kestrel here.
c55 Gulls in the distant Lower Shay fields.
Resident Moorhen on the NK pond was about all.
Popped out to the wheelie bin this morning while Sue was getting Abi's breakfast and heard Pink Footed Geese calling in the mist - ran upstairs for my camera but not a sight or sound of them when I got back outside.
Spot the Redwing
Best I could do!!
