Ringby Lane Swalesmoor - a windy quagmire

A look at Ringby Lane area this afternoon, quite windy up here but dry after a light shower.

The track after the hill top was very muddy as I walked the full length of Ringby Lane to it's demise at Catherine Slack, Queensbury.
The return was via Swalesmoor Road - no mud and little wind!

Birds:

Not much stirring alas.

3 Pied Wagtail.
The usual plethora of Corvids - I wonder where they all nest in spring?

2 Jay, c20 Meadow Pipit.
No Gulls nearby, c40 small Gulls in the fields above Crooked Lane.

5 Mallard (unusual for here)  in a field in large puddle at the very top of the hill.

And a few pics from the garden, late this afternoon.
Gulls passing very high.
1st two pictures are of the same Gull - looks a big un!.

This one probably an Adult Common Gull
