Lots of Goldfinch and a good few Long Tailed Tit about here.
Ringstone:
A quick look at Ringstone, seeing we were nearby.
Not a lot happening but it was good to chat to JB and PB.
Birds:
The usual large flock of Canada Geese C212, 2 Black Headed Gull, 1 Common Gull, 3 Mallard.
A Raptor passed overhead as I walked along the road - probably a Sparrowhawk.
I took a good few distant pics of the Geese to see if anything was lurking within but I can't see owt!
Ogden: 13:45 - 15:15
Sue dropped me at Ogden on the way home.
Another damp birding walk.
A heavy shower was followed by constant drizzly stuff - mild though.
Birds:
2 Cormorant, 2 Goldcrest.
Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Dipper.
A solitary Teal was out in the middle of the water at the north end.
The colours on the Teal photos are probably distorted by the camera trying to get some light where very little light existed.
A few Gulls etc.
Good to be out and about even if my bird sightings are pretty mundane!
c212 Canada Geese
Quite pleased with this photo.
The bird was in a very dark area.
Very Dull distant Teal
