A good few hours birding, out and about on a lovely cold sunny autumn day today.
It was good to bump into DB's mum for a chat.
Nothing special bird wise for me today, but a very enjoyable outing.
A Little Owl was seen near 'Carpet Mick's' place as I headed along to pick up the farm track to Ned Hill Lane.
Quiet along by the farm buildings today.
Ogden Water had just small Gulls and Mallard.
Long Tailed Tit seem to be thriving here with a good number seen.
A Great Spotted Woodpecker called along the way.
A Pheasant or 3 were near the plantation with some distant small Birds on the feeders.
Soil Hill had a calling Meadow Pipit and a Wren!
Taylor Lane held a nice surprise, when a Grey Wagtail landed in the midden area as I passed.
The Taylor Lane Little Owl was on the gate again.
A walk up the path opposite the 'bus terminus' of old didn't produce much just a couple of Herring Gulls high over head.
Christmas is just around the corner.
