Out and About

Our (Sue's really) annual trip to Ripley Castle Christmas Fair this morning.
A Mild gloomy morning but the weather was not as bad as expected.
The place was packed, with the parking fields full of cars, some struggling with the mud and many looking like they will need a good wash.
But there were plenty of Marshalls about organising the job.
Sue had the bright idea of parking by the disused railway cycle track by the bridge.
It turned out to be a good choice with a bacon butty van parked up here!
Sue had a good time and I..... well I'm just a misery guts when it comes to Christmas shopping, well any shopping really.

We did, however, get a very short stroll along the river Wharf at Otley on our return.

3 Red Kite and a Kestrel seen near Leathley, on our way to Otley.

Birds - Otley:

Mute Swan, Black Headed Gull, Cormorant, Heron.
A Kingfisher flew up river as we passed the massive Archimedes screw.

Nearing home lots of Gulls >W over Well Heads Road heading for Oxenhope Reservoir (TMR) by the looks of it.
