The usual outing to Soil Hill and back via Taylor Lane.
Soil Hill never ceases to amaze, I left home where a slight breeze was blowing light drizzle, but a real gale with heavy drizzle awaited me on the NW corner of Soil Hill.
Very, very dull again today, hope this gunge shifts for Christmas.
Birds:-
c40 Lapwing were airborne above Roper Lane.
2 Herring Gull over Taylor Lane.
Grey Wagtail in the Taylor Lane Midden.
I caught sight of the Soil Hill Meadow Pipit pr. that had eluded me earlier in the week.
A Large Black-backed Gull high?? which a Herring Gull was not happy with, could possible be a Great Blacked-backed.
6 or so Herring Gull seen from Ned Hill Track.
A couple of Pheasant.
A few Common and Black Headed Gull seen throughout.
Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas - many, many thanks for tuning in.
John.
2 Meadow Pipit!! Honest.
"Possibly" a Great Black-backed Gull
