Bradshaw Ogden etc

13:45 - 16:15 (ish).

The usual birding walk this afternoon, dull with drizzle to start, then mostly dry.
A bit warmer than I'd anticipated so I was bit over layered climbing up to Ned Hill Track.

I seem to be in limbo at the moment, that time of year I guess, with my best chance, locally, of something special or different, probably Ogden Water.
But that hasn't happened yet!
Colder weather this week (?) might send some rare Swans my way.

An enjoyable outing, even with a very populated Ogden circuit.

Birds:

Bradshaw:

Little Owl, Mistle Thrush.

Ogden Water:

Usual Gull sp. as far as I could tell.
Many birds distant in poor light though.

Treecreeper.

2 Kingfisher.

One in the NW side bushes caught 'a tiddler' as I was watching.
(I never tire of seeing Kingfisher).

A very faint Woodpecker call.

Plantation:

2 Pheasant.
Mixed group of Stock Dove and Woodpigeon.

Ned Hill Track.

4 Herring Gulls overhead.

I didn't go over the top of The Hill. not much happening lower down.

Taylor Lane:

Pied Wagtail on the Midden.
