A much improved day, weather wise, today but a really cold stiff breeze on Soil Hill top.
A Little Owl was seen from Taylor Lane.
RH joined me near Soil Hill and we enjoyed a traipse around and a good natter, although the bird gods were absent today.
No time for Ogden circuit but we did see a Kingfisher in the sluice area before heading back to tackle the 'Eiger' - Ned Hill Lane to Soil Hill.
A long loiter on Ned Hill Track was rewarded with a Kestrel and a fly over of 4 Meadow Pipit.
15 Fieldfare flew overhead as I went along Percy Road with darkness approaching.
And a few other sp. was about it.
An enjoyable outing.
On the way to pick Emma up from Sowerby Bridge, this morning, there were 2 Common Gulls on King Cross Road Lights - perhaps this is a usual sighting for here?
King Cross Area.
