Bradshaw Lane / Raggalds GBBG?

After this afternoons' venture up Soil Hill (see earlier blog) I had a short walk up to the Raggalds to check out the flood.
Lots of juice in the flooded field with 8 Lapwing and a Pied Wagtail present.

3 Very Large Gulls  > East above the flood looked 'interesting' with one possibly a Great Black-backed - see photos.

A few Large Gulls, occasionally, passed high overhead > w as I came down Green Lane.

The distant fields below Percy Road had a flock of Starling with c10 Fieldfare feeding together.

3 large Gulls > East high over the flood
Each cropped out below.

Looks good for a Great Black-backed to me?
(May be more than one?).

Gulls >West  - Herring Gull above.
Not sure about the one below.

  1. Look good for 'Geeb's' John showing that low belly. At least one outing today for TW produced a Snow Bunt. It looked prefect on Soil Hill and Swales for the same. Must keep trying!

  2. That is the three together. Bottom one looks like a 'Lesser'.
