Soil Hill

A short trip around Soil Hill this aft.
Back via Percy and Taylor Lane.
All 4 seasons weather up here today.

I thought I wasn't going to see any birds at all for a while, but things did improve, slightly.

My first Curlew of 2020, a nice tick, flew from the north end down to the lower shay fields.
A flock of Lapwing and Starling were down there also - but very, very distant, near Thornton Rd, with a Pheasant close by.

A pr. Moorhen were on the lower NK pond.

Ned Hill Track had a Wren knocking about.

2 Herring Gulls and a few small Gulls was about it.

A Very large Gull was over Ringby Top - seen at distance from Bradshaw Lane soon disappeared in cloud.

Quite pleasant and scenic in the sunny bits.... not great when the snow showers came later - good to be out and about.
