Sunday Skywatch and local exercise walk

Frequent light snow showers today with a cruel north wind made for very cold sky watching sessions today.
This cold weather seems to be keeping birds on the deck with very few moving through my little bit of Bradshaw.

I think I've pulled out an adult Great Black-backed Gull, from some of the photos, though, going by the amount of white in the wing tips (see what you think) and also c12 Meadow Pipits picked out by my scope through the kitchen window was pleasing.
Those 2 sp. bring my garden list to 29.

Skywatch / Garden:

Curlew calling from nearby fields.
c12 Meadow Pipit.
Pr. Dunnock, Blackbird, Great and Blue Tit.
Chaffinch, Carrion Crow and Jackdaw.
Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Great Black-backed Gull.
Poss. Herring Gull.

Local Exercise walk:

Little Owl on a post.
Kestrel, Pr. Collard Dove.
Moorhen, Canada Geese.

It was good to hear (and see) calling Greenfinch from 4 different locations along the way.
