Not bad (ignoring the wind) in the morning, dark clouds with the heavy showers late afternoon.
On the top of Soil Hill, this morning, high on the contour path the wind was very noticeable but a Willow Warbler or two were singing.
Same birds here as yesterday, give or take a few.
2 large Gulls in the farm fields as I went towards Ned Hill Lane, were an exception to the norm this week - Lesser Black-backed Gulls by the looks of them.
A Meadow Pipit was getting some nest lining ready , to make the Cuckoo's egg nice and comfy.
The Garden Watch had the usual species, nice to set eyes on one of my calling Greenfinch.
Starlings probably feeding young? They are moving back and forth at a great rate with worms.
and 19:30 some movement in the sky:-
