Saturday - Bradshaw Garden Skywatch etc.

Another cool day with a fresh breeze, as I sat for a good few hours, sky watching  in the garden.
Quite pleasant on our daily walk although the top of Percy Road is always breezy.

Thanks for reading the blog - It's going to be a bit monotonous for a while I'm afraid (maybe it's always been a bit monotonous !).
However some migrants might brighten things up a bit.

More of the same today but I did get another garden tick (bringing my total to 37) with a Coal Tit (unusual for our garden).

Other than the normal crew a Pied Wagtail flew over and there was a Kestrel and a Buzzard seen also.

Our exercise walk revealed a few Meadow Pipit and a Pr. Redshank on the Raggalds Flood.
I guess the hot windy weather, forecast for tomorrow, will dry the flood up completely.

  2. Thank you Dave.
I was very pleased with the Dunnock.
The pr. are getting to know me now!
Still hoping to scope a Wheatear on Roper Lane fields.
    Keep Safe.
