Bradshaw, Soil Hill etc

Another bright cool day today and exercise walk this morning with a birding outing this aft, both taking in the contour path around Soil Hill.
Time to get out more....

Much the same as previous days here, but no Sand Martin seen.

Swarms of large black flies along Ned Hill Track had me hoping for a Flycatcher but just the usual Willow Warblers, Meadow Pipit, Skylarks  and Common Whitethroat hereabouts.

Seen from Soil Hill were c6 Swift, Kestrel, Heron and a Curlew and a few other sp.

8 or so Lesser Black-backed Gulls were seen, moving west, as I scanned a long way over to the north.
Maybe a 2cy Herring Gull also.

A couple more Common Whitethroat were seen, one a bit nearer home at the bottom of Taylor Lane was nice to see.
Also along Taylor Lane pr. Pied Wagtail.

2cy Herring Gull???
