Ogden Water am and late afternoon Ogden Golf Course.

 Ogden Water 11:00 - 12:45(ish).

Cool, windy but mostly dry here.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Water pouring into a very full reservoir.
Quite busy given that most kids are back at school.

Birds:

Raven, 110 Mallard, 25 Black Headed Gull.
3 Lesser Black-backed Gull.
3 Great Spotted Woodpecker (heard at different points along the way).
Nuthatch (heard).
Kestrel.
Stock Dove.
Willow Warbler.
Blackbird and Robin in short supply.
Tit sp. Noticeable by their absence.

Ogden Gold Course Area 15:45 - 17:30

A second visit to Ogden this afternoon, this time to take a look at the golf course area.
Very windy to start with but it calmed down as time went along.
Some good sightings of Stonechat made a pleasant change.
2 were on the walls by the stream below the Club House.
3 (at least) were flitting about between small trees on the golf course and the fence line along the good track behind the maintenance buildings.

Birds:

Jay, 10 Swallow,
5 (2 + 3) Stonechat.
2 House Martin
A few Black Headed Gull and larger Gulls overhead.

Ogden is not far from the reported Wryneck sighting but a good look about did not see it!
