A much improved day today, lots of sunshine but with a stiff southerly wind.
We were out and about this morning but I managed a couple of hours or so birding near home this aft.
I went along the fields to Ned Hill Lane, up Ned Hill and along Percy Rd and down Taylor Lane.
Great to chat with the 'GI Bros' along Percy Rd and also AC who stopped in his car as I went along Bradshaw Lane.
Birds:
Common Gulls plentiful along the fields with Black Headed Gull and a few Herring Gull in flight.
Pr. Raven.
A large flock of Jackdaw near the farms as usual.
Kestrel.
Mistle Thrush.
2 Stock Doves flushed from the Taylor Lane midden.
The Lapwing flock were in the Raggalds football field with some gulls as we passed in the car earlier with a Kestrel nearby.
Elsewhere in Calderdale this morning Pr. Peregrine in flight overhead.
Not a bad outing.
