Local Fields

A poor day today, rain nearly all day.

I had a parcel delivery with an estimated delivery between 10:14am and 14:15 pm (very precise).

I waited in for it and ..... it arrived at .... 14:12pm.

The rain stopped just before dark so I had a walk up the local fields to see if anything was about. I did not hold out much hope though.

Gulls were moving overhead with one or two Herring Gulls calling.

16 Magpies were all together on the telephone lines.

A really soggy, sad looking Kestrel was perched on the lines trying to dry it's feathers by the looks of it.

It's tough going for some birds plumage with this incessant rain, although the Gulls seem not to notice bad weather.

A better weather forecast for tomorrow.
